There's very little, if anything, in this book that you couldn't find in pretty much any other general quality textbook. Granted it's designed for the CQIA certification by ASQ which is very much an introduction to quality but you would probably be better served by buying and studying something with a little more meat on it like Goetsch or Juran which serve much better both in content and as references down the road.
We are using this book for a quality management class I'm taking. I feel it is a good introduction to the principles of quality management. It is a fairly short book (268 pages) so it's easily covered in a single semester and it is an easy read. But it still covers the material needed to understand the basics of quality.
